Fall 7, Stand up 8

DARUMARU was born from the desire to
share Japan’s traditions authentically and
support your everyday life with a cup of tea.

Our logo and name
are inspired by Japan’s daruma doll.

The daruma is a lucky charm that rises again, no matter how many times it falls.
In Japan, it is a symbol of “fall down seven times, get up eight,”
kept close when making a wish or beginning a new challenge.

No matter how many times you fall, you can always rise again.

On the days when things do not go as planned.
And before you rise again.

A tea brand that supports your challenges.

Make DARUMARU part of your everyday life.

Commitment to Japanese Sourcing

DARUMARU matcha and hōjicha are sourced with the support of two companies in Matsue, Shimane Prefecture.

Carefully selected matcha, chosen with the discerning eye that comes from Matsue’s deep-rooted tea culture, and hōjicha crafted using a meticulous roasting method.

We personally taste every tea and carry only those we truly find delicious, regardless of price or grade.

DARUMARU’s strength lies in sharing the essence of Japan directly with our customers.

Beyond matcha, our original tins, clips, gift boxes, and more are all created with the support of Japanese companies.

We hope you will enjoy the craftsmanship and attention to detail that are uniquely Japanese.

Matcha Business Diary

At DARUMARU, we share our journey toward building the brand and visits to tea fields on YouTube.

Of course, there were also many moments
we were unable to capture on camera,
but we hope you can feel how much care we put into nurturing DARUMARU.

Please take a look.
